This baby Alocasia Reversa features thick, smooth leaves in various shades of green, setting it apart with its unique leaf colors.

Unlike most Alocasia species, which have light-colored veins, the Alocasia Reversa boasts dark-colored veins that create a reversed pattern.

This distinctive feature is why it’s called “Reversa.”

• During fall and winter, the Reversa may enter a semi-dormant state where it requires less water and zero fertilizer.

• It’s not unusual for Reversas to drop leaves (sometimes ALL of them) during the winter months.

• Even when they’re not experiencing dormancy, it’s not abnormal for Reversas to experience leaf loss, as their unique structure and root system only allows them to support so many leaves at one time.

• They also do not play well with others, proving to be highly toxic for humans and animals alike if ingested.
